Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SpartaQuiz ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using SpartaQuiz on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SpartaQuiz is an AI-assisted educational support platform designed for teachers, students, parents, and schools. It provides tools for quiz creation, writing feedback, math practice, progress tracking, and instructional insights.

SpartaQuiz is an instructional support tool. It is not a grading authority, placement system, or standardized assessment provider. Educators retain full responsibility for academic decisions made using the Platform.

3. Eligible Users

SpartaQuiz accounts may be created by:

• Teachers and school staff (18 years or older)
• Parents or legal guardians (18 years or older)
• School administrators

Students under 13 may not independently create accounts. Student accounts must be created by a teacher or parent/guardian. By creating student accounts, educators and parents certify they have appropriate authority and consent to do so.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. SpartaQuiz is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access.

Teacher accounts are responsible for all activity conducted under student accounts they create.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract Platform software
• Share student data with unauthorized third parties
• Use AI-generated content as a final academic decision without teacher review
• Circumvent privacy or access controls
• Use the Platform to harass or harm others

6. AI-Assisted Features

SpartaQuiz uses artificial intelligence to support quiz generation, writing feedback, and math guidance. AI features are designed to assist, not replace, teacher judgment.

AI-generated content should be reviewed by educators before being used in academic decisions. SpartaQuiz does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

We do not use student data to train our own AI models. Our underlying hosting platform's data-use terms are being confirmed and will be disclosed here once verified.

7. Subscription and Billing

SpartaQuiz Pro is available at $14.99/month. Your subscription auto-renews monthly unless canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.

Refunds are not provided except where required by applicable law. See our Billing Terms for full details.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, design, branding, and AI models are the intellectual property of SpartaQuiz. You retain ownership of content you create (quizzes, prompts, notes). You grant SpartaQuiz a limited license to store and process your content to operate the Platform.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Student data is handled in compliance with FERPA and COPPA principles. See our FERPA & School Use page for details.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SpartaQuiz does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpartaQuiz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
